Did you know about Three Core Elements Mindfulness: Intention, Attention, Attitude (The IAA Model of Mindfulness by Shauna L. Shapiro, Santa Clara University, 2006)

According to The IAA Model Mindfulness is The Art of Intentionally paying Attention with Kindness

Intention means knowing WHY we are practicing, understanding focus, vision and aim. Intention sets the compass of our heart. Life is like a camera, so focus on what is important and you will capture it perfectly.

Attention means knowing your WHAT. This means Present Moment Awareness being aware of our Triggers: wandering mind, active listening. According to the latest research, our minds like to wander 46.9% mind wander linked to decreased happiness (The research, by psychologists Matthew A. Killingsworth and Daniel T. Gilbert of Harvard University, 2010).

Attitude means knowing HOW we are paying attention. Here are qualities we touch upon when practicing Mindfulness: acceptance, openness, curiosity, non-striving, letting go, kindness, caring, gentleness, trust, compassion.

What we practice becomes stronger. This means, that we always have freedom to choose which seeds to plant and cultivate
